How quickly can you supply temporary staff?

Often within the same week, and sometimes sooner. Ring us with the role, shift times and site, and we'll tell you straight whether we can fill it. Same-day and next-day cover is strongest in London and the South East; other regions are usually booked further ahead.

What does it cost to hire temp staff through an agency?

You pay an hourly rate that depends on the role, the shift pattern and how long you need someone. The rate covers PAYE, employer's National Insurance, holiday accrual, insurance and payroll admin, so there's no separate admin bill. Ring us with the details and we'll quote before anyone starts.

Do you handle right-to-work checks and references?

Yes. We meet candidates, check their right-to-work documents and take up references ourselves before you see a name. If a role needs a DBS check or a specific licence, tell us up front and we'll check that too.

Can we take someone on permanently after a temp placement?

Yes. You can trial someone on a temporary basis and move them onto your payroll when you're ready. A conversion fee may apply depending on how long they've worked with you, and we'll agree it with you before the placement starts.

What's the difference between temporary, temp-to-perm and contract staffing?

Temporary means a worker on our payroll covering a defined gap. Temp-to-perm starts the same way, with an agreed route onto your payroll. Contract staffing is usually a longer fixed-term arrangement for a specific project or skill.

Bespoke Placement is filling the Forklift Drivers in Bedford, MK42 role for a leading warehouse and logistics client in Milton Keynes, MK10. We need reliable, safety-minded drivers to keep stock moving through goods-in, storage and dispatch. Whether you are an experienced counterbalance driver or a warehouse operative with a valid licence, this temporary role offers steady hours and an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • ✓Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely to load and unload delivery vehicles
  • ✓Move palletised stock between goods-in, racking and dispatch areas
  • ✓Put away and replenish stock accurately using handheld scanners
  • ✓Carry out daily pre-use checks and report any truck faults
